Marx playsets for sale10/4/2023 They were to be the basis for a small add on set called the Men of Sherwood Forest. After the set came out in 2007 I had 5 more Merry Men sculpted by the brilliant Jay Richardson of Ft. One of my favorite projects was the Robin Hood Set. Andre said that there should be some new sets in the future from Gulliver. Take a look at the other Gulliver sets that he has over here. The set was surrounded by packing peanuts so nothing would get damaged. It took about a week for the figures to arrive. You can mix some of these figures with other brands with no problems. I have a bunch of foreign made Cowboys and Indians. I have a collection of Western toy soldiers in different scales. The TSSD and Paragon figures are about that size too. Then some are like the new big 1/32 scale figures that are about 55mm or 56mm size. Some are 54mm in size like Airfix or Marx. The green color was the only color that I didn’t like. The plastic feels like the Atlantic plastic. They look really nice together.Īll in all I am very happy to add these figures to my collection. Here is 1/32 Barzso Merry Man figure below with the Gulliver tree. Some original Atlantic Outlaws in brown compared to the Gulliver figures below. I will try to find some Atlantic Indians in the future for comparison. You can see the different sizes with the Gulliver figures. In order starting from the left is a Conte Alamo figure, Gulliver Cowboy, Barzso Merryman, Gulliver Native Indian and 54mm Marx Viking. Here are 5 figures below show the scale comparison. I have a few pictures below for comparison to see how the match up with either Atlantic or some other brands. They are smaller than the original Atlantic figures. Most of the figures are about 56mm or so. I don’t know if these was an original Atlantic figure. The last figure below was a lot smaller than most of the other figures. Most of these figures depict life at the in a camp setting. There are 12 Native American Indian figures and 1 horse. Collectors will know the difference in the future if they find these figures loose in the wild. One the bottom of the figures they are labeled Gulliver. You can switch the mounted figures from the horses to the wagon. There are 12 Cowboys & Miner figures and 2 horses. The first day Paul Stadinger stopped by to say hello and he spent some time with us behind the table. It seemed like every time I left, I had to return to my table to answer some questions. It was hard for me to get around the room. Here are some pictures from the first day. It is a good show for painted metal toy soldiers, resin miniatures, paints, historical books, and you can even find some plastic toy soldiers. I have been to this show in the past, about 7 years ago. Since Warhorse Miniatures is can be collected as a toy soldier or a model to be painted for a diorama, we decided to check out this show. Most of the shows we have setup as a vendor have been traditional toy soldier shows. This was a different type of show than we usually do. Vendors providing everything from miniature figure kits, plastic and wood models, books, Toy Soldiers, Militaria, Art, and connoisseur figures. The Marketplace also attracts hobby vendors from throughout the United States. The exhibition is for painters, modelers and collectors of Toy Soldiers of all skill levels and interests. The past Friday & Saturday was the MFCA Annual Show & Mart.
